In 2007 we were awarded the contract of redecorating the internal and external areas of this important 15th century building in the centre of Tewkesbury by main contractors Ellis & Co (Restoration & Building) Ltd.
During renovation works to this historic timber framed building, survey work uncovered rare and fragile wall paintings dating from the 16th and 17th century. The work involved using traditional limewashes, distempers and flat oils and The Hat Shop is now transformed into a tourist information and local heritage centre for the town.
